Mr. Giordano has held a number of positions in aircraft maintenance, logistics, planning, and network management with the Air National Guard both as a full time technician and as a traditional Guardsman, attaining the rank of Chief Master Sergeant during his 32 years of service.

Additionally, Mr. Giordano has worked as a contractor with the National Guard Bureau for 18 years, primarily in database and software design, development, and maintenance. He was responsible for data transfer, conversion, merging of data, and analysis to support various ANG functions. He developed ANG specific software, classified and unclassified, to support all ANG flying units and most geographically separated units, software which is still in use by the ANG. He provided briefings and analysis of war plan data at all levels from Headquarters US Air Force, Major Commands, and National Guard Bureau (NGB) down to unit level. Provided support to Headquarters US Air Force Europe in design of user interface and provided support to DOD Inspector General’s office. He was also responsible for planning, designing, budgeting, scheduling, and distributing various initiatives to support the ANG.

Mr. Giordano worked as a Strategic Analyst under contract to the National Guard Bureau J5.Division. In this position, he was responsible for oversight, tracking and maintaining a database of states’ preparedness to respond to domestic incidents in FEMA regions VIII, IX, and X, encompassing the western US, Hawaii, Alaska, and Guam. He was responsible for training personnel in each state, developing software as required, and assisting in J5 functions both at the headquarters level and the state level.

Mr. Giordano holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and has recently completed Project Management Professional (PMP) training.
